I got a quick cycle in yesterday!

I have been a tad under the weather for a few days. Not enough to make me miss work, but enough to make me tired and looking forward to sleep. Yesterday, I got a quick cycle in after work, and it seems to have me feeling better today. I may take another cycle today, after things warm up a bit more. I think we'll make into the 70s F this afternoon. What kinds of exercise are you getting these days? Does exercise make you feel better when you've been "under the weather"?

@TheHorse Hugs...nothing wrong with being self....we are not in the line where it is expected of us to be slim and trim. :) Age is catching up. Compared to you all, we Indians tend to age faster because basically, we don't work as hard as you all. :)

@vandana7 I think of Indians as little skinny people! Am I wrong?

I hope you're feeling much better. I can't exercise so I exercise my brain.

My brain is tired. I think I overworked it when I was younger.

I walk my dog, and that’s about it. I appreciate the fresh air.

I walk, that is the exercise I like. As now we live in an apartment, I go up and down the stairs of our apartment complex a couple of times a day not to lose the habit.

I have friends who talk about something called "steps." Have you heard that term?

I too have seen that Stretching, exercising and walking sometimes helps relief one of ailments. Or going out for some time. It won't be a solution when one is too unwell. Anyways, best of wishes for the new week and hopefully you would keep in good health.

It sometimes can. I found that I can roll effortlessly though Walmart now without muscle fitigue or pain. I also am the one pulling my wheelchair in and out of our van on a regular basis. So, in a way I've gotten stronger from doing it. It's nothing near what I was doing, but a little goes a long way. Sometimes you just need that boost. Hopefully you can get another cycle in.

I walk back and forth across the kitchen while I'm cooking something in there. And no, exercise doesn't make me feel better if I'm not feeling well. A lot of the time, not feeling well means I'm dizzy as all get out and I'll fall down if I try to walk then.

I had a headache most of the day yesterday. But sleep and laughter was my medicine yesterday. Today I feel fine. But yes exercise does help.
