Deciding What To Do

The first problem is what to do with the young hen chick if she lives through the day. The last 2 mornings she has been at the door when I opened up the coop. That means the big ones are running her over to get out. She obviously isn't the smartest bird. The young rooster stays back. She was eating so hopefully is ok. If she is ok this afternoon I think I will put her in with the ducks before she gets smashed.
I cleaned most of the bookcase off last night. I might take a picture of it and try to sell it. I actually have another one I could sell also. I still have some games on it that I think I will try selling too. This is a good time of year to do that.
Hope you have a good day.

Aww, poor chick.
Good luck in selling the bookcase!
I’ve had lunch and it’s time for a walk.

Did you think maybe she LIKES the bigger chickens to run over her?

Hope that chick survives the stampede. it would be a shame if she was squashed.
Good luck with your sales. It is a good time of year to list those things for sale.

I remember a young chick that got one of her legs broken by a dog. We made a cast, placed it elsewhere and gave her food away from the rest of the chicken. But when the leg healed she had become a bully. We had bought the chicken to have eggs but had to kill and eat her before she killed the rest of the young hens. She was delicious!
