A playground for big kids / myLot

On our way to the Country Music Muster, we stopped in Katanning to visit the playground. This has two sections: one is for children and one is for adults. The collage shows some of the adult equipment. There is a slide, a rocking giraffe and I’m not sure what the one on the right would be called. We didn’t go on the adult slides and swings which was probably a bit of a shame. We all need to let our inner child have free rein from time to time, don’t you think? Having said that, I didn't like the look of all those steps to get to the top of the slides.

I like those slides, I am often tempted to use them at the kids playground in front of our apartment. Having an adult one would be great.

As it's to scale, you'd feel quite vulnerable at the top I think.

As dizzy as I get climbing stairs, I wouldn't have climbed on any of those either. I wish I could, though.

There is also a miniature railway nearby. It's open on Sundays so we might need to time our next trip better.

Yeah, the designers should have realized that steps can be a problem for adults! But still a cool playground.

I totally agree that there should be adult playgrounds. Over here they tend to install fun stuff for children and then boring exercise equipment for adults - that nobody ever uses except the odd teenager trying to make it go faster or whatever.

We have that exercise equipment here too and it is boring. I'm not sure I'd want an adult-size seesaw though. I was kept up high when I was little so seesaws aren't my favourite.
