2nd physio session for me today …..

United Kingdom
November 5, 2025 4:03am CST
Today I have my 2nd physio session. My first one was two weeks ago and I have been doing my exercises, so I’m hoping he is going to be pleased with me. My Mom has also noticed that I am using my arm more. Although it aches a lot , I can feel and see the improvement. Like he said last time , it is going to take a while, but I will get there. I am hoping for more exercises today too.

I'm glad the healing is taking place and you can still use your arm/hand. That isn't always the case with broken bones and stretched ligaments. Years and years ago, I fell off a scaffolding and caught myself on the way down by wrapping my left arm around a strut sticking out of the side of the scaffolding. It caused the nerves and ligaments in my left arm to stretch and make them ACHE when I use them. The doctors gave me exercises to do after surgery and I still get aches and pains in that arm/wrist/hand.

@Traceyjayne You're welcome. I guess the aches and pains are just part of getting older.

@DaddyEvil well, as you know I am 972 so I guess I should expect some aches and pains.

Thank you, it’s certainly been a long time. I don’t think I will ever get full power or movement in my rm again. Have to live with it I guess.

I’m glad to hear it seems you’re able to use your arm more. You’ve gone through such an ordeal while recovering. How did you break it?

I slipped and fell in the kitchen at home . I hit the quartz work surface as I went down. Broke the upper left arm. Unfortunately, the brace they put on was too long and too tight causing problems under my arm but mainly meaning I couldn’t elevate my arm and the blood supply was severely reduced, causing swelling and I was unable to bend my fingers.

that's good progress, the pain will go away later if your arm is completely healed.

I wasn’t sure what he was going to say ….i have been doing my exercises but I know the healing is a slow progress. I was pleased that he was happy with the progress so far. Yes, the more it heals and the more I exercise then the pain will become less

I will, I’m quite enjoying doing them actually…..after months of not being able to do anything , it’s great to be mobile again.
