It is crazy how little he knows about the lives of "regular" American citizens. I truly cannot comprehend how people can still support him and believe that he understands the challenges that they have in their lives. First last Friday he revealed the tacky renovation he ordered of the Lincoln bathroom. Of course it has the gaudy gold accents that he loves and it also has a chandelier. Don't you all have chandeliers in your bathrooms? The government is shut down, people are out of work, prices are up on everything, and he is bragging about what he believes is a wonderful improvement to the bathroom. Then he hosted a Great Gatsby-themed Halloween party at Mar-a-Lago. The novel The Great Gatsby is about a bunch of out-of-touch and awful rich people. Very on brand. Americans are not receiving SNAP assistance while he and his buddies rub their noses in the face that they have plenty of food and don't need help. Today he had a meltdown while speaking to the press after the GOP got absolutely destroyed in the elections yesterday. He started ranting about election reforms he believes the country needs including voter ID. He repeated his false claim that people need to show ID at grocery stores to buy bread. He also added in a new one--he thinks that people need to show ID to put gas in their car. Bro has like NEVER gone grocery shopping or got gas for a car. Could he make it any clearer that he has absolutely no idea about reality but he may possibly have a solid dose of dementia? It is truly frightening that this guy has the nuclear codes.
