Seeing the sun go down so early, is the hardest part of time change.

For a lot of people, having to change the clocks, and adjust to the mornings is the hardest part. Growing up as a student and going to school, it's the same. I was like that too. But now, as I write this post and watch the sun set, It doesn't feel like it's only 5:30. My brain keeps wanting to think it's much later. I've put in a full day and it doesn't feel like it. But, here we are. Several hours away from bed, but still. At least I got one of two tube feeds in at a reasonable time. George tried to pull a fast one, by asking for food right before bed and trying to going to bed, knowing full-well I hadn't given him the second tube of the day. He then tried to argue with me, saying I could skip it. Nope.... If his weight drps too quickly, then I'll be told to incresse his feeds.

I do not care anymore about the clocks change, I did when we worked and we were obliged to have a schedule.

@LadyDuck After a while our bodies will adapt and it'll become normal, but by then it's headed the other way.

I am right there with you. I HATE it being dark so early. It's entirely depressing.

I don't find it so much depressing so much as it can throw my rythem off. Part of me feels I should be sleeping, but remember it's only 5 or six at night.

@porwest When the sun goes down early, and George asks me 'what time is it, I have to look at the time to answer him.

@kaylachan To me, I don't really notice the hour. Just the ratio of dark to light.

George is a sly one, isn't he? My day is a bit anxiety ridden with the news I got. You will probably read about it. Ugh! I'll be glad when that is over with.

@kaylachan ........I pretty much do that myself. I get my news from YouTube and in bits and pieces as I can handle it.

What news? Most of it, I ignore or take as a grain of salt.

I keep the door to my workroom closed at this time the golden light in the kitchen as the sun goes down over the Halifax River makes me terribly sad and I try to ignore the darkness around me,

The sun going down earlier does make me a little bit sad since it gets darker sooner.

It is dark at this very moment. I wish I can have my off time work soon.

Yeah, I know. And our bodies are programed to think dark means sleep.

The short days are hard to cope with. If you have to go out to work and you leave home in the dark, miss the entire day and get home again in the dark, I never liked that.

I've never had that problem, but when George worked for Pizza hut or had 3 jobs that happened often.
