Tractors on the Horsepower Highway

The photo shows six of the old tractors along the Horsepower Highway. We followed this highway from Broomehill to the Country Music Muster that we attended. Only one of these tractors has had any additions to the background. The central photo on the right shows a soldier near the tractor which is surrounded by red poppies. I’ll showcase some of the other tractors later as people have gone to quite a bit of trouble to decorate their tractors.

I enjoy the variety of colors in the tractors (most of ours are red or green if it’s a John Deere). That’s a nice touch to honor the soldiers with the statue and the poppies.

My brother who was blind restored a John Deere tractor. He couldn't paint and he couldn't weld but otherwise having no sight didn't stop him taking on an old tractor and getting it going again.

We saw a self-propelled harvester on our travels. We spoke to a farmer who said you'd get litlle change from a million dollars.
