It amazes me that people deny science

Like it really is incredible and not in a good way. The MAGA cult refused to wear masks or get the COVID vaccine because they somehow turned it into a political thing even though Trump was bragging about making it happen with "Operation Warp Speed". Um vaccines aren't a political thing. They are a health and science thing.
I've heard so many stupid things about the COVID vaccine including that it changes your DNA, that it magnetizes people, and that it puts a tracker into you. SO STUPID. Learn some science people. I also found it incredible that Trump who was so proud of Warp Speed distanced himself from the vaccine during the 2020 presidential campaign and held huge superspreader rally events. Um how do you win an election when you are killing off your voters?
Andrew Wakefield didn't do the world any favors when he published reports that the MMR vaccine was liked to autism but America went wild about it and we now have a whole generation of anti-vaxxers. RFK Jr who has no clue about anything involving health now has been bashing vaccines and Tylenol. Trump has been ranting and raving about vaccines as if a businessman who bankrupted 4 casinos has any clue about health or medicine.
But the MAGA idiots believe them. Hey--go for it. Refuse the vaccines. The MAGA cult will just get smaller.

There are people who still believe that cold weather, not a virus, causes a cold or flu. It’s not new.

@MarieCoyle — “come inside, you’ll GET cold” is accurate. Catching a cold? No.

I still hear that ''come inside, you'll catch cold!'' No, that is not what gives you a cold. But some people just don't listen.

I wonder how many MAGAts are diabetic and willing to forego their daily insulin shot(s)?

I remember, years ago, that my ex son in law was going to be married again. My 2 grandsons were in Europe there and were sort of hippies. My ex SIL paid for their trip to Chile but discovered that they did not have the vaccine. He told them that they either get vaccinated or they could not go to the wedding. They had to have the shot. Some time after that you could not get into a plane if you did not have the vaccine.

When Trump had his big ''check-up'' a few months ago, it was announced that HE had a Covid shot. I was shocked. And yes, now we have an entire generation of anti-vaxxers, you are correct. As someone who grew up being vaccinated for polio was an absolute must. We knew people with polio. We had friends and a family member who had it, and were crippled all of their lives. Vaccines save lives, but people don't stop and think of that.
