Surprise Visit This Morning

Happy Thursday Everyone! It's another chilly day here today but it's nice to see the sun. The day started off as routine with my morning coffee and then I got a text from my son saying he wasn't working today and he and my daughter in law wanted to come by for a visit. How could I refuse that offer and pass up the chance for some hugs. An hour later they showed up, we made another pot of coffee and enjoyed catching up. They just left and had some errands to run and I figured I'd pop on and say hi before the day disappeared. First thing this morning the truck came and picked up all our boxes we left out for donation. I'm glad they came early and all that stuff isn't sitting on my porch all day. Bye bye "stuff" and hope you find a new home It's going to be winner winner chicken dinner here tonight. Just have to figure out how I want to make it. I would really like to bread it and fry it (cutlets) but it's a pain to fry and isn't the healthiest option. But, it does sound good and we haven't had it in quite awhile. Usually I air fry it but just the idea of "real" frying is appealing. Anyway, who knows how much energy I'll have when it comes down to actual cooking. So, how's your day shaping up?
