Police officer in South Carolina saves the life of a child

North Myrtle Beach South Carolina Police Department officer Sergeant Christopher Bellamy was on patrol on Saturday September 27 when he saw an overturned golf cart submerged in three feet of water on its side with three older women with seat belts attached. Bystanders were doing their part to extract the women, Christopher called for backup from the North Myrtle Fire Department as the firefighters to control rescue operations, When one of the women mentioned that her four year old grandson was underneath the golf cart, Christopher used his pocketknife to cut the seatbelt and life the grandmother out of the way so he could rescue the four year old boy. Christopher used his pocketknife to cut the boy loose to get the boy to the ground and begin using CPR to revive the boy who was taken by an ambulance to a local hospital where the boy made a full recovery. Christopher was thanked by the family of the boy he saved and has gained the admiration of his superiors in the police department. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us/...
