The Best TImes to Drink Water

I know I tend to harp on water intake a lot but after seeing several people have serious medical issues because they didn't drink enough, I have made it my goal to pass the work a long about how devastating dehydration can be. Drinking water can help you in several ways. For instance, it helps in fighting fatigue, improves your focus, and keeps your body performing at its best. Here are some things you might find interesting: * When you think you're hungry try drinking some water. You might just be thirsty. * When you first wake up is one of the best times to drink some water. Breaking the fast of hours of no water intake. Add the juice of half a lemon to some water for a boost of Vitamin C, potassium and antioxidants. * Whenever you sweat your body loses important fluid. As the body warms up it perspires to "cast off" heat. Cool down by drinking 6-12 ounces every 10-15 minutes while you are active. Then afterwards drink another 16-24. * When you are flying the higher the plane goes the drier the cabin becomes. You might carry an empty bottle with you to fill as needed.

@celticeagle I keep my big jug of water filled. I should drink 2 a day plus 2 cans of diet soda; but I struggle to drink one jug of water a day.

I keep a quart bottle by me at all times and drink from it often. I need around 1 1/2 gallons a day according to my doctor. I usually manage to average that in a 24 hour period.

I have two one gallon jugs on the floor by my bed and drink from them often. I'm glad you are getting enough.

I keep mine on the floor in the darker part of the room and it stays rather cool there.
