Fish & Chips for Friday tea …..and a chocolate eclair.

As you may know we usually have a takeaway on a Friday Sometimes we go out to eat , but mainly a takeaway.
Tonight we decided on Fish and Chips.
I was a bit disappointed that the chip shop hadn’t done battered chips tonight. I don’t think they were cooking much as Storm Claudia is expected to keep most folk inside this weekend.
Anyway Mom and I had mini fish and The Mister had large. We shared a bag of chips. The Mister had curry sauce !
To follow we had a chocolate eclair.
Yummy.

@Traceyjayne I’m in New Mexico right now. We will head for Arizona in the morning. I can’t believe I’ve made it with my back intact.

I had a sausage, egg and cheese croissant this morning at 5 am and thought Pretty and I could go to McDonalds for burgers for late lunch but she's still asleep and I felt like I could eat a whale... So I got some frozen sloppy Joe meat from the freezer and microwaved that and ate it with bread rolls. It was good enough.
I'd still like to go somewhere and get a vanilla shake, though.

@traceyjayne My own cooking has left me somewhat crestfallen recently so I tried harder than usual and made moussaka. The béchamel sauce was excellent, though I say so myself. I used milk that I had infused with onion, celery, bay leaves and garlic to make the sauce and this seemed to make a difference.

@Traceyjayne Yes. I wound up not having time to eat my lunch because I was talking to a coworker. I'll cook something soon.
