Smile for the drone

Our German friend has a drone and we took it to Lesmurdie Falls yesterday. We found a quiet spot away from others and let it do its thing. It was a bit spooky to have it sitting a little way away taking photos of us. The photo show you what we could see.
Tomorrow, we are taking our friends to camp at Dryandra then to the farm where I grew up. It would be a good place for Vince to try to get his drone going. He hasn’t had much luck with it so far. When the battery dies, it just does a bellyflop to the ground. Our friend’s descends very quietly and gently which is much to be preferred.

@JudyEv I hope he does. It does get tiresome when you can't

I want to buy a drone but the decent ones are still very expensive

Vince's were relatively inexpensive which probably explains why they didn't work so well.
