The soup turned out really good

I was putting it together and found I did not have any Rotel.
Good excuse to go to Dollar General. We had soup with tortilla chips for lunch. I have managed to freeze some of it and also put some into the refrigerator for meals this week.
I like to get some cooking done on the weekend.
Plus this emptied some space in my pantry, and got the turkey bone broth out of the freezer.
Of course, according to the current health trend all that collagen in the broth should make my hair luxurious, and my skin glowing. It should heal my gut, make my bones strong and if I am lucky it will also wash the windows. My broth does not have to work miracles, it just needs to hold my soup together.
Hope you had some yummy food today.

I asked my doctor a little about it at my last check up. She said yes, collagen is good for you, but you do not need to spend a fortune on buying supplements. It is not that good.

Isn't washing windows something you do when you move? lololol Today I will have the other half of a frozen dinner: chicken/broccoli/pasta. It was pretty good yesterday.

Must be right, and I very seldom move. Chicken and broccoli sounds very good to me.

I try to be simple, cheap, and flavorful. I went hungry some as a kid.

It did make a great base for my soup, and that is all I could seriously ask for.

I enjoyed eating fried chicken and green peas for dinner this evening.

Well, with all of the bone broths I make from scratch, and the batches of soup I produce since I am a soup-a-holic in the winter, I should be so fortunate to have all of that going for me. But maybe not!

I do think homemade bone broth is really tasty, way better than the store bought. But that's just my opinion. I make my own whenever I have the bones, scraps, etc.
In my opinion, homemade soups are one of the very best winter foods.

It would be a mess if it was awful and I had to throw it out.
