Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 47 degrees F, sunny, and windy here at the Jersey Shore. Ugh. At least it isn't raining.
Work was busy today. The students were working with microscopes for the first time. For the most part it went better than usual though there were a few who tried to go rogue several times. Still it was a tiring day of running around the room helping the kids. I also had to get the 1st marking period grades into the grading program as they are due today.
I'm back at the apartment with the cat crew. I need to do dishes, laundry, and work on some online trainings for work. I'm so sick of having to watch the same stuff every year. Like this is my 24th year. I know the NJ child abuse/neglect hotline by heart. I know about bloodborne pathogens. I know about FERPA.

I am enjoying my time working at home sharing news stories and completing surveys under a clear evening with the temperature at 74 degrees F.

Nothing exciting going on here, Doing some cleaning and cookiing, and there were no appointments today, which was nice. I got to wear my sweat pants all day, which rarely happens anymore.
I imagine you do get tired of doing the same things every year. I have had many friends start out as teachers, and after a period of years, move on to another job, or another school, just to have a change. One of them went back to school to get a nursing degree, and although she loved teaching, she also really likes being a nurse.

It was 29 degrees at 4 am. Brrrr. Today cousin #2 is coming back, the washer repair guy is coming; and AAA may have to come back to start the car.
