I think the weather is supposed to change

The forecast just keeps on changing and changing but I suspect it is true.
There are robins all over the field and my yard right now. I have seen other birds as well, but we have not seen robins in months.
I also realized that I have not heard geese migrations so far this year, until this morning on my way to work. There was one small "V" of geese in the sky.
It is good to watch nature to know about what is changing.

We had storms yesterday morning but then sunshine in the afternoon. The forecast here is showing storms/rain possible Wednesday through Friday. We have thick cloud cover now but aren't supposed to see any rain today. The temp today is supposed to reach 74F but it's the warmest day this week.

We had rain Thursday into Friday. Sunny but cool here. I still see robins, and crows and blue jays are very vocal around here.

@GardenGerty We had heavy fog here today that turned into a drizzling rain by afternoon. We topped out around 50F today. I only stepped outside to get the mail and bring it in. It felt chilly around noon.
We usually have crows and sparrows in our back yard and see other birds in our front yard once in a while.

Do you WANT a blizzard? I would not mind snow but I would not want the wind that is involved in a blizzard.

I would have a hard time with that. I love having the seasons change, even if it does get cold.

@GardenGerty I think if it's all you've ever known, it's not that bad.

Your birds just come and stay then? Yes, 34 C is pretty summery.

@GardenGerty Most do. I think some might fly to particular nesting areas but all within the state.

You have a good idea that nature has a way to see what changes in the weather is coming like when it is about to rain, cats that are on the front yard know to find a hideout to avoid getting wet.

It is beautiful here in California. It is 63 right now, which is 14 degrees cooler than Oklahoma. So it’s my ideal temperature in Anaheim. There were little robins around this morning, just hopping around, so close to us. My sister was pointing them out while we were sitting outside.

Birds seem to like touristy areas. I am so glad you had a good time on your trip.

The birds are a pretty good indicator. My daughter had a Halloween costume that is a butterfly and a man told her shouldn’t you be at the beach now. She was confused but I understood. Haven’t seen butterflies for awhile now winter is for sure coming

It seems it is a little late this year. Some years we can hear them day and night.
