Got my last sick note.

Well, after much hanging around this morning I saw the Consultant …..he liked my x ray ….
He has given me a sick note until 19th January.
Then he says I may go back to work.
If I don’t feel able to I have to go back to him.
I will still be having physio for a while yet though.
Such good news ……
Can’t believe I had the accident in April and I will be off til January.

It certainly has been a rollercoaster ride.
I’m not looking forward to returning to work, as they have changed my role since I’ve been on sick leave !

That was quite an injury but hopefully you'll be able to go back to work in January. It's good , though, that if you aren't able that you can still have options.

Yes, I hadn’t seen this Consultant before and I was very happy with him. Asked questions about how I felt and what I could and couldn’t do ….and listened to the answers…..examined my arm …..
