Well the shopping day was a tad disappointing

I did stop at a place here and got a few good bargains, but the bin store it was dollar day..had items barely worth a dollar. I did buy a notebook but other than that..it was a bust. Trader Joe's was OK, it's always fun to see what they have, but but one thing in their ad was a cat advent calendar..I thought that would be fun for Nico. I just saw it in their current circular, and they said they were outI hope your Xmas shopping is going better than mine. for the year. I didn't see any of the dog ones either..sigh.

I never go shopping to Dollar stores. I end up buying things tat I don´t need or want. I prefer to spend a bit more and buy what is on my mind.

it can be tempting to overspend when you rationalize..it's just a dollar.This particular place, didn't have anything I was really interested in though.mostly junk, nothing tempting..although I have seen better things in there in the past. I have some cute decorations I got there..that really don't look cheap.

@snowy22315 In my country, those dollar stores have all sorts of junk that is tempting. It is incredible the amount of junk you don´t need but when you say "it´s just a dollar" then you are lost.

Well, I did find some stuff other places. I felt Luke I wasted my time going to the bun store. I will ink go there on .25 days.

I will be folding out some gift cards but I always get some small gifts as well. am giving son a subscription to Popular Mechanics He will love that.

@snowy22315 I just have cousin #2 (she loves Amazon), cousin #3 (she loves Walmart) and the lady across the street that always brings the trash can back to the garage (she loves Longhorn Steakhouse).

I think more people than ever are out looking for bargains. At least, it seems like that here. At least you managed to score a few good bargains at another store, so not a total loss. Still...it's a disappointment.
