Tim Minchin.... He is supposed to be a comedian...and he says profound things....humorously. The best part, I understood each and every word he uttered. And he is an Australian....they are supposed to have different accent, right? Whatever....this is a very profound content...cannot believe somebody younger than I is so far ahead in understanding life...not fair...

Where has your Avatar gone Vanny? Australians have a more British accent, I understand them better.

I was asked to take it down by one of my friends who is into astrologer. She said do it for about six months or so...also minimize interactions....she feels I am being targeted. I don't believe it...but she is a good friend...I need to replace my picture on facebook too. Yeah...British accent is easier to relate to...why do these Americans think English should be spoken like Americans. LOL

@vandana7 - Oh my goodness, I do not believe what astrologers say, but I understand you want to please your friend. I do not know why Americans think English should be spoken like that. You surely know that Winston Churchill stated that "England and America are two countries separated by a common language"

@LadyDuck LOL...And America is desperate to establish its identity by twisting English giving new meanings or multiple meanings to the same words...even changing spellings and pronunciations. LOL.

First point itself showed how deep he had thought it over. I did not think of it like that, ever. :)

I've heard this before and yes, he is a very profound thinker and speaker. My husband was bursar at his school when he was in his last couple of years. His talent was very apparent even then.

You don't really expect a comedian to say things like that...it is shocking. But he added humor so it went down easily. I loved each point he made....this is something I am going to listen to everyday a few days of my life...so that I may get it in my life....if a priest had said this...it would be ignored...he sure knew how to deliver such wisdom. Hats off.

@vandana7 It's very profound in a way. Very serious stuff but delivered with humour and much more likely to be taken notice of.

For some reason the sound didn't want to work; but I read the captions.
