This month is quickly moving along, and before you know it, it will be Thanksgiving. It is rather late this year. Today is another gray day like yesterday. Last night's dinner talk was good. I had some nice people sit at my table, and we were talking about all the restaurants we liked. They also told me about an event in Virginia Beach I didn't know about. Apparently you can drive the boardwalk for 3 miles and it all lit up during the holiday season. That would be a once in a lifetime experience. Their boardwalk is not wide though..I wonder how that can be done?

It's snowing there?? How cool you should share a pic. I am going to a Christmas craft show tomorrow. I still feel bad I missed the one I like on the 9th. It gets bigger every year, and is indoor and outdoor. For the past couple of years they have had parking attendants.

@snowy22315 I just took a photo from our bedroom window, it's getting dark, but you can see that the snow is starting to cover the ground. I am sure the craft show is a great event.

Went to Virginia Beach by train with my parents decades ago. All I remember was getting sun poisoning and the long train ride back home being sick. The Christmas lights thing sounds interesting. I don't remember the boardwalk.

It does sound interesting..a lit up boardwalk with the ocean crashing in the background sounds like a unique experience.

I told the window people they could contact me again in 6 months. Maybe I will get invited to another dinner.

That does sound like it would a unique experience and I bet it's really festive. Maybe they have a website with showing how it's done.

It would be, I would have to stay down there though. I wouldn't want to drive back here in the dark. It's a long way.
