No Football Room Day

I am sure there is something hubby will want to watch. That's fine with me. I have the trail cameras laying in the No Football Room and need to check them for you last time. Then take batteries out and box them up. So I hope to get that done today.
I have decided to do my shopping Wednesday since Thursday is Thanksgiving. So I will need to get the old tree out and loaded to drop off at Goodwill soon. I also have 2 bags that will go there. And after I do my Christmas decorating I might have more to donate.
I will also get another bag full gathered up from the pile. It will be clean in no time if I keep at it.

I just dropped a bag off to two different thrift stores this week. Trying to get rid of things before Christmas.
I plan to get groceries Monday. The only other day I could go would be Wednesday and by then the things I need will be all scooped up since thanksgiving is the next day.

@wolfgirl569 I have to shop for the little girl we are getting gifts anonymously for Christmas. We have to have the bag of gifts there by December 4 and it’s coming down the wire now and I haven’t found anything yet nor had much time to shop.

We went out and bought our Christmas tree today (real tree). We usually wait until Thanksgiving weekend, but my daughter will be visiting the grandparents then, so we decided to go ahead and get one today. We got it trimmed up today, watered, and are letting the branches settle tonight. Tomorrow we'll put up the lights and decorations on the tree.

That always gets me all out of gear when a holiday comes on a Thursday since I don't celebrate and I have to remind myself others do so I know what is going on on the Internet. Amazon had a talking robotic turkey toy but i think I will pass.
