So, exciting news. Next Saturday they are switching on the Christmas lights in one of our local towns ……this is happening all over at the moment. Anyway, my Granddaughter and her dance class have been selected to dance just before the switch on of the lights. I’m so proud of her. I’m hoping for good weather so that there is a good turnout to support them. There will be events all afternoon, stalls etc leading up to the big switch on. Happy Days.

That does sound like fun! I am sure your granddaughter and her dance class will enjoy themselves. I hope the weather is nice so you can enjoy it, too.

@Traceyjayne She's older now so should have a better command of dancing. I hope the other kids dance well, too. Yeah, we're getting colder here with the possibility of snow and freezing rain. It's raining right now and feels colder than the 11C makes it sound. I was cold when I had to step outside for a few minutes so tried on long jeans and have several pair that fit well now that I've lost some of the weight.

How fun it is to see your granddaughter dance at the tree lighting. I was always excited to see my granddaughter and now my grandson when they marched in a parade with their schools marching band.
