Who is already starting to prepare some foods for Thanksgiving? We are going to hubby's brother's house about 20 miles away as we do every year and his wife cooks everything. They ask us to not bring anything. So no cooking going on here. How about at your house? Are you prepping anything early today for tomorrow?

My older daughter is hosting so we only have to bring a few side dishes. I'll be baking my apple crumb pie today and making stuffed mushrooms. Tomorrow morning we'll do the broccoli cheese bake so we can bring it hot from the oven. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving.

The little Thanksgiving dinner at my dad’s house is Friday, and I’m tempted to make the sausage balls tomorrow, but I know they would be so much tastier warm. So I might try to time it to cook Friday and when they are done, bring them over to my dad’s house.

Nope. I usually put the turkey in around 5 am and take it out between 7 and 8 am. Since we only have to please ourselves, we snack all day on smoked turkey and the fixings. (I'm thinking about cutting the pecan pie now and having a slice of it since I just ate my breakfast and am still a little hungry. )

Nope. If cousin #2 can get through the blizzard tomorrow, she will be cooking Thanksgiving dinner for us.

I will not be doing any cooking. We'll be having Thanksgiving dinner at my sister and brother-in-law's house, and we will have our gathering on Saturday the 29th.
