I was very surprised at how good it went. Walmart grocery area was fairly busy which I expected. But people were mostly polite and if not polite zoned out so not rude at least . I even scored a couple of good meat deals today. A package of steak strips was half off. These were not the real expensive cuts. I divided that into 2 and cubed some for teriyaki beef and rice this evening. I also got 5 chicken legs for 3 dollars. That is almost a very reasonable price. It was half off also. I divided those too. Goodwill wasn't busy when I stopped there. I dropped off my donations and then looked around the store. Nothing caught my attention. Rural King wasn't busy. I got 5 bags of grain instead of 4. They had it a dollar off per bag so the one was basically half price. That lets me feed them a little heavier while we get through this cold snap. Speaking of cold, it's now down to freezing. And the wind is gusting heavy. It actually pulled one of the playhouse walls loose. I will fix that tomorrow. Maybe. Depends on the wind. There is branches down that will need picked up later. I did the evening chores early as most of the chickens were already inside. Just those 2 young punks were out. One of those is that ornery rooster. Hope you had a good day.
