So, I have always been pleased when I see my dad, although he does ask repetive questions, his personality is much intact and he shows little decline other than that. I was mentioning to someone that his doctor must be really good. In fact, I have thought of writing a Thank you note to them. I still might. However, I did notice a bit of decline this Thanksgiving. My brother in law told a funny story, and my dad said I used to know a story like that but I have forgotten it. He has historically been able to relate a lot of stories from the past..and he didn't seem to remember any on this trip which is a departure. I just don't know what is going to happen there. My mom doesn't seem to want to refill out the application for the senior center. She did it once for both of them, but I think you have to re apply every year.

That’s an extremely nice thing to think of, to write them a thank you note.

I think it would be a sweet gesture on my part.

I'm sure the doctor would appreciate a thank you note
