Bring on the instrumentals. The old time dulcimer really wakes the Christmas kid in me. Love that mountain twang. Last night I plugged in the fake Christmas tree's lights. I sit the four footer on a crock, alongside the wooden stairs. It's a wee bit taller that way though its still skinny. Fred cat is around 8 years old now. Such a striped fellow. Just that quick he decided a second childhood was for him. Fred's heart beats much faster than it is supposed to but for a few minutes he had a ton of fun, batting his cat toes at the lowest dangling tree ornaments. I always put the cheapest and less fragile oranments on the bottom. Fred;s antics had me laughing so if he broke something it was okay. I was just delighted to watch Fred enjoying himself and not needing to cough over it. This afternoon I put the even smaller fake Christmas tree on the front porch. I have a garland for that one. It sits by lit up glowing Santa. The dining room table has parts of this year's Yule Tale all over it. Hubby plans to begin binding the pieces into a book pretty soon. I need to start writing addresses on envelopes. For sure tomorrow is December First. Have to get the Santa biz rolling.
