Is Pete Hegseth finally on his way out?

Trump's Secretary of Defense, Pete Kegseth, might finally be cut loose after the most recent news coming out today. *might* I mean I was surprised that he made it through the confirmation process and then the whole Signal chat debacle so anything is possible in this dumpster fire administration. So the US has been blowing up fishing boats in the Caribbean for the past few months because they are supposedly trafficking drugs to the US. Just blowing them up. No capture, no investigation, no due process, nothing. Well back in September they blew up a boat but there were 2 survivors in the water holding onto the wreckage. So what did Hegseth do? He ordered a second strike to kill them. Just a little violation of the international laws of war. No biggie. Of course the White House lied, denied a second strike, and said it was "fake news". Then Trump said that Hegseth didn't do it and said he believed him. Earlier today the Press Secretary was asked if the second strike didn't happen or if it did but Hegseth didn't give the order. She said "the latter is true". Well now she is saying that he DID give the order. It sure looks like Trump is throwing Kegseth under the bus. This is why it was so timely that the 6 members of Congress issued that video reminding members of the military to disregard unlawful orders. The buck NEVER stops with Trump. He will blame anyone and everyone else and, as we saw after WWII, saying you were simply following orders was not a valid excuse for things that occurred.
