What's for dinner? December 3

What's going on the dinner table tonight? I want to know! I'm making the meatballs from Julia Turshen's Small Victories cookbook. They are supposed to be made with ground turkey but all I have is ground beef so that's what I'm using. Instead of eggs and bread crumbs you use ricotta cheese to bind everything. That's great because I have a ton of ricotta to use up. No fresh basil but I have frozen cubes of it so that will work for the tomato sauce. I will serve them over some leftover plain spaghetti with some grated parmesan cheese. I'll be an adult and have a green salad on the side. That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? Do tell!

We'll be having free fried chicken, steamed veggies (potatoes, carrots and corn) on the side.

My dad made a plate for me to take home, so I’ll be having mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans with bacon and onions, and some pork loin. I look forward to it.
