Made cranberry sauce again

I had another 12-ounce bag of fresh cranberries in the fridge so decided to make cranberry sauce again before they go bad. As usual I used Ina Garten’s make-ahead cranberry sauce recipe. It always comes out really good. The recipe calls for a Granny Smith apple. I did not have that at home so decided to use what I have—a Cosmic Crisp apple. Once the cranberry sauce cools down, I will put it in a glass jar and place in the fridge to chill. It is best consumed out of the fridge. I can’t wait to taste it. While it’s cranberry sauce, it can be eaten in place of fruit preserves. I had some with farmer cheese and it was really good.

I cannot wait to try it. I hope it’ll be just as good if not better with Cosmic Crisp as opposed to Granny Smith.

I like homemade cranberry sauce and I also like the kind you buy in a can.

I don’t think I have ever tried cranberry sauce from a can.

I've never had cranberry sauce or anything like at Thanksgiving. I don't think I'd like it. Don't really know.
