Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 34 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 43. Ugh.
I slept until almost 9am today which was lovely. I hate having to wake up to the alarm at 5:30am. It is great when I can just get up when my body decides it is rested. I had 2 scrambled egg-stuffed red pepper halves for breakfast. The recipe is on Skinnytaste and is very good. I used egg whites rather than whole eggs because I had a bunch in the freezer and added some extra veggies. Very tasty! I'm going to make them again for the upcoming week.
No big plans for the day. I am just going to hang here and work on some kitchen projects. I never got around to ordering groceries yesterday so I will do that today too. After a long week it is nice to just be able to have the day to myself.

I just have a couple more Christmas cards to do. A couple more members wanted to exchange cards which I was excited about.

Thursday night the temperature went down to -17C. I woke up Friday morning to no heat. This happens every winter. I hate winter. Why does this have to happen. And it's too early for this. Fortunately I tried something and got the furnace going again.

Good morning... It is 37F at 11 am here. Our high today is supposed to reach 50F. That will be nice. We had thick fog earlier this morning before I went to sleep. I'm glad that's cleared off now.
Nothing going on here today, as far as I know.
