I Wonder What's Going On

I thought I saw two fire trucks, an ambulance and a cop car going out State Street. It's something I've become used to this time of year. Out my window I can't see the street below the apartment. I looked back to my laptop and thought nothing more about it. My grandson just came in and said they had gone down our street and were down at the end somewhere. I didn't see the lights. I hope it isn't the old man I see walking outside sometimes. We've nodded to one another on occasion when I am looking out and see him walking by. He used to walk by with a walker, then after a few months it was a cane and lately it's been just him. I hope he's okay. I don't know of any other older folks in this complex.
