Overslept By Accident

Happy Tuesday Everyone! the sun is shining but it's cold. Old man winter has arrived early this year.
Can't say that I got up early this morning as my stupid alarm didn't go off. Every night my routine is to set my alarm with Alexa. Same time every single night for 8:20am so I can have coffee with my daughter before she starts work. Today, no alarm and if the dog didn't bark I probably would have continued sleeping. Got up and asked Alexa about my alarm and she said it's set for 8:20pm. Good grief! Sometimes I think Alexa does what she wants and not what I want.
Anyway, my morning has been busy and now I can to sit here and relax.
I finally ordered a gift basket for my Aunt & Uncle. I'm so behind this year and it's mostly due to not knowing what to send. At least it says it will be delivered next week.
The dog groomer is coming on Friday and I stopped wracking my brain as to what to give her. Instead of trying to figure out a dollar amount as her Christmas gift I decided to crochet her a scarf. I've been working on that and will have it done before the Friday appointment.
Hopefully the rest of my day goes smoothly and I can get everything done that I have on my "to do" list.

I know she’s going to love that scarf, no doubt. I have everyone’s presents, but a couple I can’t find. They’re somewhere in these bags, but I’ve yet to find them. It’s my aunts presents, and I’m missing 2 of the 6. There is no backup plan so I better find them.

I hope you find them quickly and it doesn't turn into a big headache. I've been consolidating my stuff that been coming from Amazon into one box just to eliminate the clutter so now I have sort through and start figuring out what is going to whom.
I really hope the groomer likes the scarf. It's a really pretty medium color gray with tiny little silver sparkles which makes such a pretty scarf.

I have set the wrong time on my phone before. It's really annoying. Maybe Alexa decided you need more sleep? 
I was in the shower at 6:30 am getting ready for my doctor appointment. (I'm always awake at that time but usually don't shower until I wake up in the afternoon.) It just felt weird to shower that early in the morning.
I hope the groomer appreciates the work you put into making her a scarf.

I'm convinced that Alexa has a mind of her own and shake my head when I actually argue with her.
I hope the groomer likes her scarf. It's been so cold here that a scarf seemed like a good idea.

It sounds like you needed the sleep. I'm sorry Alexa got the time wrong.
It's good when things come together and you ordered your Aunt and Uncle's gift, and know what to give the dog groomer.
I hope the rest of your day went just as smoothly.
My day? Working on Firestorm. It's almost finished with this edit and revision then I'm working on Faith to Believe to get it published early next year. I know you wanted to hear that.

I'm sure your groomer will love the scarf. I only had 3 gift cards to buy; and they're already delivered. Nothing much going on here.
