Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 33 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Ugh.
Work was easy enough today. I couldn't get onto the network to access the powerpoint presentation so I went with plan B--Amoeba Sisters videos. The students don't love them but they are really good. And I'm always like "you're seriously complaining about just sitting and watching a couple of short videos?" 
Anyway that gave me the opportunity to catch up on some paperwork including filling out the paperwork to get reimbursed for the gingerbread house supplies for the baking club.
I'm back at the apartment now with the cat crew. I took out garbage. I should take out the recycles too but I'll deal with that in the morning. I have an hour of tutoring this afternoon. Then I need to do the dishes and make something for dinner. I've been striking out with stuff lately and have been throwing a lot out. 
What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Good afternoon. It is 55F in my part of Missouri. We have partly cloudy skies and 30 mph winds which brings a 45F wind chill.
My doctor appointment went well enough this morning. The doctor prescribed some steroidal eyedrops and wants me to use them three times a day for three weeks and go back and let him look at my eyes again. He's trying to figure out what exactly is causing my eyelids to swell up. (He made a point of telling me not to use anything else in my eyes until he sees me again.)
I am waiting for the pharmacy to drop off the new prescription.
I've been asleep and that felt nice.
Pretty wants me to try some fiber cookies instead of the fiber powder I've been using in my water for the last year. I tried one of the cookies and YUCK! (Fiber One Cinnamon Coffee Cake. 
I won't be eating those again!)

@NJChicaa She wants me to switch because she can buy the fiber cookies with SNAP benefits and we have to pay for the powder with cash. I like the fiber much better.

We had a powerhouse of an emotional time at the museum, then had lunch together. I got caught in rush hour traffic, but managed to get home by 5:30…then promptly took a nap. They gave me so much salad at Chuy’s that I’ve eaten half of it for lunch and dinner, so I’ll have more tomorrow!
