I'm so excited for this coming Saturday, as I will be taking my girlfriend to Orlando to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra in concert. All shows in Florida sold out pretty quickly, but thankfully I was able to grab us a couple of seats. This year's tour is called "Ghosts of Christmas Eve." I've never seen the Trans Siberian Orchestra perform live before, but I've always heard how incredible the performance is. So I'm very excited to finally be going. They are performing two shows on Saturday, one at 2:30pm and the other at 7:00pm. We got tickets to the early show, with plans to head to Disney World right after the concert to continue our holiday festivities. Have any of you ever seen the Trans Siberian Orchestra live before? If so, how'd you like it? And is there a particular dress code? Photo is of the grand Christmas tree at the Fort Wilderness Lodge at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. It's one of my favorite Christmas trees at Disney (with the one at Animal Kingdom Lodge being a close second).

I bought tickets to them before and sent my parents to see them one Christmas. They liked it so much they went back the next year with friends.

That’s awesome. It means TSO put on a great show if your parents went back the following year. That’s a good sign I’ll have a good time and enjoy the show.

That will be an awesome show.I have always wanted to go too. I don't think they came to Richmond this year though.

For decades I have wanted to see them, and just never had the opportunity. And this year, they are playing in three cities close by where I live, so I just knew I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

I watched some of their concert videos, and I didn’t see people overly dressed up. I didn’t see jeans and t-shirts, either. Enjoy your holiday, sounds like you’re going to have a great one!

I hope you have a great time at the concert. I'm not familiar with the group. I've been under a log for too long.

I actually did make it to one of their concerts with my aunt before she passed away. She always wanted to see them and they were in St. Louis, so she bought tickets and I took her. She absolutely loved it and said it was a memory she wouldn't ever forget. We worried about a dress code for that, too. But we found out from someone that it evidently didn't matter. It was winter and cold, so we wore dark long pants, a pullover sweater, and our coats. She was in a wheelchair and got cold very easily and couldn't have managed being so cold in a dress, and we fit in just fine. We saw a few tuxedos, and we saw a lot of jeans and ordinary shirts. It should be fine, whatever you pick to wear--just wear something, OK? Don't go telling us they wouldn't let you in because you ''forgot'' your clothes!!
