Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 48 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. It is yuck out there.
Work was busy today which made the day go by quickly. I left some of the tortilla soup that I made last night in the fridge at work for a coworker along with all of the fixings. He texted me "absolutely amazing soup--thank you chef!" So I think he will be willing to take leftovers off of my hands now and then. 
I was supposed to have an hour of tutoring this afternoon but the mother emailed me saying they had to cancel and reschedule. Fine. I will be sure to make that hour up. She no-showed on Monday but I get paid for that because it was the first time. Now I want to make this hour up because, well, money. 
So I don't have much of anything going on this afternoon. I need to do the dishes and prep lunch for the next 2 days. I also need to make something for dinner. Such excitement. 
What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Good afternoon... It's bright, sunny and 46F in my part of Missouri this afternoon. (I stepped out on the front porch to bring in the mail and it feels warmer than that outside.)
We had some really strong winds blowing last night. I heard several of the trash bins getting blown over during the night and the older neighbor was out at some point moving his and our trash bins up against the house. 
The pharmacy called and asked why I put in an order for one of my meds but I can't get that refilled until I go get a blood test done. I told her I hadn't called about a refill. Something screwy going on there. 
(They refilled it last month without the blood test results.)
My eyes are still swollen almost closed from all the tests done yesterday so the blood test will have to wait.
