Just imagine if an airplane landed on your car.

I just can't even fathom this. It happened on I-95 near Cocoa, Florida Monday. A small plane, carrying the pilot and one passenger, landed on a Toyota Camry.
What's even more unbelievable is that no one died. The driver of the car had a few injuries, those in the plane did not.
I honestly don't freak out easily. But if a plane landed on my car, I think I would!

I saw that. The funny thing is, believe it or not, Eisenhower had the interstate system designed so planes could land on them (for defensive purposes in case of an invasion). Those pilots don’t have to test that out, though!!!

Yes, he did. And one of the reasons why there is such a median in the middle, I read that somewhere. But this is definitely one for the books!!

Oh wow, that's... something. 
I mean, I've heard of pilots trying to land planes on roadways when they have unexpected troubles but... I always just imagined them landing on a clear stretch of highway. 
Never thought about them landing on a busy street, silly me. 
Note to self: if ever driving on a road and there's a plane that looks like it's in trouble and trying to land on it, give it a lot of distance.

We see a lot of crop dusting planes in the spring and summer, who circle very low over the highways and then spray the crops. Sometimes, it's scary to see how low those little planes go over the cars and trucks, that's scary enough for me!
