Friend and I just had breakfast, he is going to be off to do a notary assignment in a few minutes, and will go home from there. We had mulberry jelly on our English muffin this morning. That is something I have never tried, and when I saw it, yesterday at the Amish marketplace I had to buy it. I thought it had a very good flavor. Have you ever had mulberry anything? Do you like it?

@snowy22315 Those are trees, not very tall, but trees. Mulberries grow on trees and can be red, white, or black, blackberries grow on bushes.

@LadyDuck I know blackberries grow on bushes. I have picked enough of those in my day. Apparently the song is wrong.

I don't know that I have ever had mulberry anything. I didn't even know what they looked like for sure, I had to look at a pic. I am much more familiar with its cousin the blackberry.

@wolfgirl569 I guess I must have seen them, and not known for sure what they were. If I ever knew I forgot. Never seen them around here thats for sure.

@snowy22315 They have a sweeter taste and grow on trees. We have several trees here.

Nope I've never had mulberry jam. Was it sweet?
My granddaughter got herself a jam/jelly Advent calendar and every day she gets to try a new jam/jelly. I'll have to ask her if she got any mulberry or any other interesting flavors.
