Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 37 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Ugh. Work was an easy day as the students were working on their own. I got a coverage in one of the classrooms I use so I didn't have to haul ass across the building. I'm back at the apartment now with the cat crew. I have an hour of tutoring if the girl shows up. I'm not holding my breath. If/when I am done with the tutoring I need to start working on the cookies for the cookie swap tomorrow. That is going to be a project. Six dozen cookies?!?!?! What was I thinking to agree to that? What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

I just went to go through more bags if my bedroom (that I don’t sleep in), but I’m so I overwhelmed I want to scream. I’m not sure how to tackle it all. If it weren’t for the fact that my parent’s weddings rings are somewhere in those bags I’d be tempted to chuck it all. That is SOO many cookies!

I can tell this is an ongoing stress for you. Can you just set a goal of, say, two bags a day and be happy with that? I had to move a lot of soil once but just did x barrows a day. It's surprising how it helped and before long I could definitely see the pile shrinking.

Good evening. We're at 32F at 7 pm heading for a low of 11F according to the forecast. I'm glad we aren't needing to go out in that! I hope you get the cookies made without a problem. I laid out hamburger for dinner tonight and Pretty asked about pasta... I offered to make spaghetti but she said one of the boxed pastas would be fine. So we'll be having Velveeta Philly Cheesesteak dinner tonight.

Six dozen is a lot of cookies. How many students at your school? I'm guessing it's pretty huge.
