I got some stuff at the supermarket today. One of the things was yellow squash. It was on sale for 88¢/pound. That’s a great price. Unfortunately, that’s not what I ended up paying for it. I just got home and looked at the receipt and saw that the price was $1.49/pound. And it wasn’t even scanned as yellow squash. Receipt says butternut squash. Clearly the two look nothing alike. I can’t believe I didn’t catch the mistake when I looked at the receipt in the store. Looking at the screen during the cashier’s scanning was useless because without glasses I couldn’t see the text. I overpaid by 60¢. Not happy about that. I want my money back, however, going back to the store won’t be worth it. I’d either have to spend $5.80 on bus fare to and from the store. Or I’d have to walk about an hour to the store and same to get back home.

It would be insane for you to spend like $6 to get 60 cents back. It is 60 cents. Let it go.

I’m definitely not going to do that. Not worth it.

Sometimes items are missmarked.

That is why I check mistakes before I leave the store.
