Massachusetts State Patrol (MSP) Trooper Rassam Charles was just doing his job to speak to a man who wanted to jump off of the Tobin Bridge in Boston Massachusetts last month by convincing the man not to jump off of the bridge since the relatives of the man who wanted jump off of the bridge would miss him. Officer Charles spent nearly two hours convincing the man who wanted to jump off of the bridge and seek medical help at Mass General Hospital. Officer Charles has become friends with the man who he saved from jumping off of the bridge. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us/...

That man must have been pretty determined if it took two hours to talk him down.

That is a lot of time to give to a person to save him from himself, and it was good that a good result resulted from his talking to the man here.
