The Unknown Cold/Allergy Medicine

It didn’t kill me! You might remember one of the poll/survey sites asked to do a product test to try an allergy medication in exchange for $40. It was easy as pie, and best of all, it seemed to have worked. I think they wanted more feedback on taste and other attributes (mouth feel, lol) of the medicine than if it actually worked, but it was actually a tasty, effective liquid medicine (3 different flavors). How are your allergies doing?

Haven't done any dusting lately so they're behaving themselves.

What is the brand name of the meds you took? Did they tell you what was in them? My allergies are doing fine. Thanks for asking.

Bless you and your allergies. Some people have such bad allergies I don’t know how they do it. My dad’s eardrums have burst I don’t know how many time because of his. Nothing works. They asked me if I were allergic to a certain ingredient, and when it wasn’t something I’ve ever been told I had a problem with, I went ahead with getting the medicine. Somewhere in the paperwork they said the name of it, I think Xyzal. Now, I wait two to three weeks to be paid. They’ve paid before, so I expect they will this time too. If not, get ready for a scathing review. Last time, they just wanted me to tell them what I drank each day. That was about two years ago.

@DaddyEvil Yes, the L word is the one they asked if I was allergic to. If you ever go liquid, because apparently some adults are tired of pills (I’m actually having issues swallowing so many pills after so long), I recommend the Bubble Gum that I thought was Cherry.

@AmbiePam Xyzal is another name for Levocetirizine dihydrochloride. I take that in tablet form and it works very well. Of course, the tablets don't have a flavor. I'm sure they'll pay you.

That's great that it seemed to work. Will you keep using it? I guess it's expensive.

I’ll really have to consider price, although I appreciate that it’s a liquid. I am so tired of taking pills. If it’s around the same price I’d go with the liquid. I do have some leftover, so that should last a little while.

I am glad it works. No allergies in winter, only pollen allergy during spring.

I'm not allergic to anything. I do have one med that I can't take. Glad the product test went well.

That’s good not to be allergic. I know one guy allergic to penicillin. How bad is that?!

Surprisingly, I have never had to take an allergy medicine in quite a few months now.
