Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 33 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The snow hasn't magically melted from behind my car. Work was busy today. Just when I was caught up with the grading I went and assigned something else. Obviously it never ends. And yes of course I will assign another thing tomorrow. The new guy at work drove me into work again today. His outfit was hysterical. Today was "Christmas in July" day. He was wearing a Coca-Cola shirt, bathing suit trunks, slides, and a Santa hat with sunglasses perched on them. He said he was seeking attention. Like I said he is new there (but not a new teacher) and he feels like most of his coworkers don't want to know him. (he's not wrong but it isn't because of anything about him--it just isn't a particularly friendly place) So he was all over the building walking around today. . . and then he had to break up a fight so the whole cafeteria definitely saw him. I'd say he got the attention he wanted. I was hoping to get an hour of tutoring done this afternoon but I haven't heard back from the mother so I don't think it is going to happen. Oh well. So for now I am just sitting down and catching up on the news and InternetLand. I will make some type of chicken for dinner later. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
