It is raining here! How is the weather where you live? / myLot

As I rolled over at 4 AM, I heard the unmistakable sound of rain passing through the gutters above me. I also noticed that it was kind of warm, perhaps around 50F. I did not really need my comforter. I slept in until about 8 AM. The rain is taking a break right now. I see wet pavement and dreary skies. I have not checked the temperature, but I bet it is in the mid-50s at this point.. Too warm for snow on Mt. Diablo. How is the weather where you live?

It close to noon here, and 53 degrees. But no wind, so we are doing well!

It's just after noon here and 55F right now. We have a 76% chance of rain later this evening.

@TheHorse It calm here, too. Somebody keeps moving our trashcan outside, though. I get to the window too late to see who it is. They've put the trashcan in the middle of the yard.

It's very calm here right now. And dreary. I would guess the temp to be about 55 F.

My state has been going through a bad patch. North of me has had it pretty bad. Rain and now gusting winds. Some folks are losing their houses.

@TheHorse Two major highways heading East toward Idaho and Montana etc. The one to the North- highway 2- closely follows a lovely river. I've driven that windy and gorgeous stretch many times. It's almost to Leavenworth. The water came down hard and the river ate a big chunk of the highway. I don't know when that will be patched.

We had extreme wind and rain again through the night. It was scary and I don't scare easy. Around 1pm, I went out to check around and heard trees falling below.
