Thursday Without Coffee Chat

Happy Thursday Everyone! it's sunny and bright here this morning with rising temperatures. It's nice to be able to take the dog out without either of us freezing. The ice on the driveway is gone so my daughter was able to finally make it to the mailbox without worrying about falling. Needless to say, the mailbox was full. My plans to sit here this morning, enjoy my coffee and chat went by the wayside when my phone rang. It was my Aunt and Uncle calling to thank me for their gift basket. I'm really happy they liked it and with them having a very large family and all of them coming for Christmas, I figured it would come in handy. We chatted for almost an hour and by the time I hung up, my coffee was done and I hadn't opened my laptop. I can already feel that this day is going to fly by. In less than an hour my daughter will be taking her lunch break and I've barely done anything. I broke my nail trying to open an Amazon box so now it's all raggedy and I had to cut it really short. This time of year my nails seem to split so easily and it's painful and a nuisance. Anyway, I have 9 other fingers that are doing fine I'm going to try to catch up here for a bit with the hopes of no more interruptions. Hope your day is going well
