Good evening myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day has been going well. It is 47 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore even though it is just 5pm. Ugh. I was off today and didn't do a whole heck of a lot aside from running the dishwasher and putting laundry into the dryer. The cleaning lady was here and she did a deep-clean of the fridge. It needed it! I normally pay her $150 when she comes but she spent more time than usual and it is Christmas so I sent her $250. She actually called me to thank me which was unusual. She's really been struggling lately. As for me. . . yeah I have no great accomplishments to report other than doing progress reports and getting work graded. Took a great nap while the cleaning lady worked on the fridge. I'm going to get going on dinner soon but that's about it. What's everyone else up to this evening?

That was nice of you to give the cleaning lady a bonus. I'm glad she said "thank you". I"m still waiting for cousin #3 to thank me for her gift card. Sigh. Nothing going on here until Monday.

Very nice of you! I'm sure she appreciated it. High winds here this afternoon/evening. Gusts up to 35 mph. Even with all the new insulation the house is feeling chilly.

That was a kind bonus to give the cleaning lady. I'm sure she appreciated it. I've found the younger people here don't tend to say 'thank you' as much as we might have.
