These calls are annoying me.

Up until now, my phone would catch spam calls, and just hang up on them. Recently, they just put up the warning of “Potential Spam” under the number. I was ignoring the calls until they labeled one number that looked familiar, as spam. I picked it up, and sure enough, it was a business I needed to talk to.
More and more calls are coming up with local area codes which makes it even trickier. What do I do now? I answer it, wait for a hello, and immediately tell them I don’t have Medicare (I’m 44) before they mention it. This usually results in them hanging up, and so far I haven’t caught anyone incorrectly on what they wanted.
I can’t wait for this nonsense to eventually stop.

Spam calls are a nuisance for sure. My phone has the potential spam ID too, plus a screen that asks the caller what they are calling about. That extra feature helps.
I don't know if they will ever stop it. I am registered on the do not call list, but it doesn't stop all the calls from coming.

@AmbiePam Yes, really good, if they are a scammer, they hang up after 30 seconds. If not, they provide a transcript for you, and you can call them back.

I have that, too, @dogobucks226. On my phone it's called "screen call" and when I hit that they get a little message asking who they are and why they're calling--and to please say so. Of course, they don't.

I don't answer calls unless I have a pretty good idea who is calling. If it is important, they will leave a message

Since I have a new phone, I keep getting calls from places I'd blocked on my old phone. It is helpful when my phone company lists places that are spam, though. Once in a while, a phone number does seem familiar so I answer the call anyway. Only once have I told the phone to accept calls from a potential spam number.
Most of the calls lately are from police asking for donations. Those ARE spam calls and get blocked on the new phone.
After signing up for the No Call List, I got a ton of calls asking for donations so I know better than to do that again. And reporting those calls never results in anything happening. I just block them and call that good enough.

Recently I got a lot of scam calls. I didn't answer them besides my phone labeled them as scam call.

Sometimes after an iOS update you have to reset some settings that get unset
