Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) Captain Brody Fields who was off the clock on Saturday in Prescott Arizona was going to the gym for a workout when he saw a house on fire.
Captain Fields who was with his wife ran toward the burning home when Captain Fields was able to rescue a resident before fire crews arrived to put out the fire.
Captain Fields was also able to rescue a second resident as well as pick up glasses, cellphone and safe of the first person he saved.
Both the captain and his wife used a garden hose to keep the fire from spreading until the firefighters arrived to put out the fire.
Firefighters believe that the fire began in the fireplace and spread to the attic. I am sure that Captain Fields will be rewarded by his superiors for his actions of rescuing persons in need.

I think some of these activities must become second nature to firefighters and other EMS personnel. Fate plays into it too. Dirty chimneys are not good. If the stuff can't escape where else does it have to go but into the house.

I think all the wives of the firefighters have a biig and brave heart also to see their spouses rushing to save others lives while risking theirs.

He certainly went the extra mile there to save items such as cellphones, and glasses, and then using the garden hose too. A very dutiful officer, and he did well here, in responding so gallantly.
