The Empire State Building used to be the tallest building in the world. and it was where many despondent people went to end it all. On December 2, 1979, Elvita Adams was walking around the observation deck on the 86th floor. When the last person left, she stepped up on the edge and jumped. At that very moment a huge gust of wind came up and instead of her falling all 86 floors to her death she dropped onto the 85th floor. A night supervisor happened to see her fall there and with the help of some others he was able to bring her safely inside the building. She is taken to Bellevue Hospital and was found to have only a fractured pelvis. The miracle is that the wind gust must have been between 60 and 70 MPH and it had to be coming from just the right direction. Can you imagine?

She was meant to live and wonder how she is today, I have been up there many times and particularly was interested in going up after I saw King Kong,

A miracle sure! She wanted to end her life but the giver of life had other plans!

Back in 2018 (I think) my ex and I were in NYC to see the Jimmy Buffett musical--Escape to Margaritaville. It was great. On our way to dinner after we walked to the closest LUSH shop which happened to be on 34th street. He posted on FB that I spent only $130 at LUSH so it was a real miracle on 34th St.
