What is left before Christmas?

I don’t think I have much left to do. I had a whole bunch of free gift bags from last year so I just used them for everyone’s presents. I still haven’t found the tissue paper I also had, but hey, at least I came across the gift bags. I finally decided which of my six aunts got what, with a consult to one of my cousins to make sure one aunt would like what I decided to give her. She’s not picky AT ALL, but she got shorted last year, which I’ll probably write about later (please try to contain your excitement).
I guess tomorrow I’ll give my dad and Diana their presents because they’ll be at her family’s all day Christmas Eve. Then, we leave at 7:30 Christmas morning for the Christmas with my dad’s family. I really don’t want to try to fit that in, then.
Can you believe it’s almost Christmas Day? I really can’t!

I have a doctor appointment very early in the morning. I'm just hoping it will be light enough outside that I can see to drive since the appointment is in Springfield again and I have to be there by 8:15 am. It's supposed to be cloudy and 50F by 7:15 am when we'll need to leave to get there on time.
Other than that, there's nothing else we need to do before Christmas morning. I'm making baked chicken this year with shallots and green peppers with spices. It's a one pan meal. I've never used shallots before so I hope it comes out beautifully together.

It sounds absolutely delicious! As my dad would say, “It sounds so good my tongue my beat my brain out”.
That’s cutting it close with the doctor appointment and the sunrise, isn’t it. I mean you do what you have to, but this time of year you never know when the sun will get in gear.
You did remind me though, that I need to get some papers together for The Housing Authority. They want receipts for all my medical bills. Have at ‘em!

@AmbiePam The doctor specified I be there on the 23rd and the receptionist wanted to make the appointment at 3 pm. I told her I couldn't do that as it's too close to getting dark by the time the appointment would be over. So she said the only other time they had was 8:15 am... I took it.

This week is going to fly by and I am starting to feel both excited and a little overwhelmed. I don't know why I get so stressed as it's just family and their here often. Guess it's just all the second guessing I do
