I hope they don’t see this as favoritism.

I have six aunts on my dad’s side: Melba, Jo Ann, Joyce, Ruth, Lana, and Dana. All of them are sensitive except my Aunt Lana and Aunt Dana. Every year, I get them all something small for Christmas (3 of them always get me something). Last year, I totally forgot one gift, and I hurriedly asked my dad which of his sisters was less likely to get their feelings hurt by not getting a present. He immediately said, Dana. So Aunt Dana didn’t get anything from me, and I apologized, explaining to her I forgot. She was fine with it.
This year, and if you remember every gift gift this year I’m getting them this year is something I got free. I’m giving Aunt Dana the most expensive item ($125) to make up for last year. Obviously, I’m not going to tell them how much everything costs, but it’s obvious hers will be more expensive. (Their things are not cheap though.)
I really hope this does not get me some comments. They are the nicest ladies, and would help anyone anytime. But they came from nothing, and some of them were treated differently from each other.
This should be an adventure!
Meanwhile, my uncles don’t give a darn if anyone gives them anything.

I hope so. One of them, and it’s a genuine question, we wonder how she survived this world. She has no filter. Anna, you would not believe this woman. She’s so sweet, but she’s out of this world kooky. Her husband is now blind (he’s had 4 cornea transplants), but HE takes care of HER. She’d never survive on her own.

I sure hope they don't think any differently about you for the gifts you're giving them. It's too bad you couldn't just give them all the same thing but I know that would be difficult when you get one of each thing to try out.
Good luck!

@AmbiePam It's hard to buy for some people and you just have to hope they'll understand.

Maybe you should make a point of saying, sadly I forgot Aunt Dana last year so she gets a special gift this year. Maybe that will help tamp down the jealousy if there is any.

I would hope that any gift you give them would be appreciated and that they will be happy with your thoughtfulness and not look at the gift from a monetary standpoint..

Surely they have good enough manners not to say anything if they do notice a slight degree of difference, but they should just be happy that you thought of them at all.
